Child Protection

RettAdvokat have extensive experience in representing clients in child welfare cases. We assist clients when emergency orders have been issued, and in cases where notes of concern has led to a notification of a care order.

RettAdvokat also assist clients in cases where the Child Welfare Service has startet investigations after they have received a report of concern.

Our lawyers conduct cases before the County Administrative Board and the Courts, and we assist our clients in meeting with the Child Welfare Service. We represent parents, and minors which in some cases might have right to their own lawyer.

In child protection cases brought before the County Administrative Board and the court, clients will be entitled to free legal aid.
